What is SEO?

SEO is short for …Search Engine Optimization also referred to as Search Marketing or Search Engine Marketing.

I guess we all know what a website is. If the answer is NO…welcome to earth…

“SEO is a diverse set of activities that is performed to bring or increase the number of desirable visitors to one’s own website”.

So Why do you need to know about SEO?

Few reasons

2. If are a part of the Marketing Department of  a large or small organization.
3. If you are a budding entrepreneur.
4. If you are looking for a career in Digital Marketing.

7. If you like to know how the internet works when you search for something.(Of course,we all search for something  or the other, on search engines like Google, Bing,Yahoo etc)
8. If you have children whom you have to "compete" with so that they don’t turn around and say “ You don’t know anything”….
